Enrollment Support Specialist

 

We are searching for an experienced Enrollment Support Specialist at our Oakdale Campus.

 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Position Summary:

 
The Enrollment Support Specialist is a member of the Enrollment Management & Student Affairs team providing front line customer service at the Oakdale instructional site.  This is a temporary position covering the time period of February 24-April 10, 2020.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
§  Responds to emails received and screens calls and voicemails on the main Oakdale phone line. Escalates/routes messages to appropriate person when needed.
Provide information to students in a professional and respectful manner regarding the admissions and financial aid application process.
Promptly, accurately and professionally respond to student inquiries and questions.
§  Performs a wide variety of administrative/clerical and technical support for the Oakdale site to comply with college policies, deadlines and procedures related to student enrollment & retention. Maintain knowledge of the general College policies and procedures.
§  Maintains strict confidentiality of all student information based on FERPA regulations.
§  Performs other related duties as required and assigned by supervisor.


Required Qualifications:

 

Essential Qualifications, Education and Work Experience:

 
§  Associate degree preferred with at least two years’ experience working in an administrative support role for a fast paced professional office environment – preferably within a college setting. A combination of training and experience can substitute for the associate’s degree preference.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

 
§  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population required.
§  Strong organizational skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and customer service skills a must.
Essential Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

§  Reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required for filing and storage of office supplies and other work-related equipment.
§  Lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
§  Work a regular Monday through Friday schedule of eight hours per day and occasional weekends and overtime as may be required.
