Adjunct Instructor – Digital Arts and Communication
We are searching for an experienced Adjunct Instructor – Digital Arts and Communication at our Main Campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Digital Arts and Communication Department is looking for an Adjunct Instructor to teach face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid classes on the main campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide face-to-face, hands-on, and/or hybrid instruction to digital arts and communication students on the main campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintains a professional appearance.
· Projects a professional attitude toward the students.
· Utilizes the approved curriculum, states clearly defined course outcomes, and assures that content is taught.
· Submits required reports in a timely manner.
· Maintains accurate grades and attendance records.
· Organizes instruction in the classroom.
· Provides sufficient practice in digital arts and communication to develop student skills.
Required Qualifications:
· Masters, Bachelors, or Associates degree in Communication, Graphic Art, or closely related field required.
· 2-4 years professional experience in media production or the video production industry required.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products, specifically, Adobe Premier and Adobe Audition required.
· Excellent verbal, writing, and communication skills.
· Must meet credentialing guideline for the Southern Association of Colleges and School Council on Colleges (SACSCOC).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Experience in post-secondary teaching preferred.
· Experience in online teaching using Canvas preferred.
